"Dreams do come true"
Celeste and Natalie are a mother and daughter team of natural born designers. Celeste grew up in a small and very modest household in Puerto Rico. Her Father was a commercial artist and her mother a devoted home maker. Since she could remember, Celeste had love affair with fashion. Driven by her childhood obsession with pretty dresses and armed with nothing but an old singer pedal sewing machine, she began designing and sewing at the tender age of fourteen.
Later she relocated to Florida, where she found herself offering her sewing skills to the Vero beach Ballet in order to provide her daughter Natalie, with ballet classes. She constructed all kinds of costuming for the ballet, including costuming for their yearly performance of 'The Nut Cracker'. It was not long, Celeste was quickly discovered! She was introduced to the owner of a high-end bridal shop in Vero Beach Florida who was in search of a seamstress that could do... well miracles. Her first task, salvaging an extremely expensive Badgley Mischka Bridal Gown that had been severely damaged during alterations with a prior seamstress. Celeste did not disappoint.
And so, it began... in an unconventional way, her gift was polished and groomed. Dottie, the owner of the boutique, exposed Celeste to the world haute couture bridal fashion. As destiny would have it, she experienced the opportunity to work with many high-end designer gowns and she realized this was her calling.
Her two children finally all grown up, she decided to dedicate herself to her art. Celeste has constructed gorgeous silk gowns for hundreds of brides near and far. Her unique skills and love of design have yielded a variety of styles that flatter and hug the body just so. Celeste has been published in bridal magazines such as Beautiful Bride, June bug, The Celebration Society, Whim Magazine and others.
After years of private design and construction of bridal gowns, Celeste will be launching her own bridal collection in 2018. Using nothing but the highest quality fabrics, and embellishments, her gowns are carefully hand crafted in the USA. Celeste prides herself in being a natural born designer. She is excited to make her gowns just a little more special. Her new solar powered studio incorporates other earth saving technologies in order to leave a smaller foot print during the construction of her gowns.
In case you wondered, the stick does not fall far from the tree. Her oldest child Natalie has flourished into delightful young designer of bridal robes and lingerie. She has worked alongside Celeste for many years and will be introducing her collection in the Fall of 2018.
